The future of passenger transport
Reaching the target with 0 emissions and 24 carat real gold
Even before the start of the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2020, Toyota is planning to use so-called FC buses in the Tokyo metropolitan area. These are environmentally friendly fuel cell buses that can transport up to 77 passengers. The vehicles do not produce any direct air pollutant emissions. Not only in metropolitan areas such as Tokyo but worldwide, there is an urgent need for action to counteract the progressive effects on nature. Daimler is also announcing an electric bus for 2018.
However, e-mobility is not the only branch of industry that addresses sustainable needs for the environment. The aerodynamic design and the drag coefficient also play a significant role. Nature shows us in an exemplary way how a perfect aerodynamic body is built: A penguin, for example, achieves an air resistance of 0.03, while a drop even has a value of 0.02. A vehicle with ideal air resistance would therefore have the shape of a drop. *
The EleMMent series from Marchi Mobile proves that aerodynamics and environmental friendliness also have a right to exist in the commercial vehicle sector and for vehicles over 12 t. As the world's first small series manufacturer, Marchi Mobile is a pioneer for ecologically sustainable products in luxurious passenger transport. The fact that, thanks to its aerodynamics, the EleMMent series has a drag coefficient comparable to a sports car (Cw 0.3615) speaks for itself and drastically reduces fuel consumption. Nature also served as a model here. Derived from the original Colani design, the EleMMent series combines biomorphic forms with cutting-edge vehicle design and revolutionary equipment features.
However, passenger transport of the future does not mean focusing exclusively on the aspect of sustainability. Design and luxury should receive equal attention. The eMMent viva from Marchi Mobile is a jet on wheels with the highest level of prestige and comfort — a completely new approach to luxurious passenger transport. In autumn 2016, the first Multipassenger was recently delivered as a V-VIP edition. The exclusive vehicle is equipped with 500 hp diesel with the latest exhaust technology. The interior, clad in 24-carat real gold, features 22 first-class leather seats.
