Donating blood and donating plasma can save lives. Many people are aware of this and donate regularly. But there is still a great demand for blood supplies — there are even recurring bottlenecks in clinics. Due to the now long-lasting corona crisis, blood donors are currently desperately sought after, as there are downright supply gaps.

It is all the more important to offer attractive and modern options for donating blood and compensating for bottlenecks. When it comes to blood donation, many think of institutions such as the community center around the corner or the blood donation bus. As a rule, this is purely for a good cause and the donor does not want to spend an unnecessary amount of time there. In addition, the conditions are not always ideal even for the local team. The temporarily set up blood donation centers do not always meet the ergonomic requirements for the team of employees and the well-known blood donation buses are often extremely tight and outdated.

Our team of engineers, designers and vehicle manufacturers has therefore thought about how to make blood donation much more attractive and emotional for the donor and the team. We asked ourselves numerous questions: How can you improve the sense of space in a mobile blood donation vehicle? How can the donor create a true feel-good atmosphere? How can we turn a blood donor mobile into a real eye-catcher that is already advertising impressively on the street? Which technical and media features can be installed to turn the blood donor vehicle into a modern vehicle of the highest standard? Of course, we also had to face the countless regulations that make hygienic and sterile work possible in the first place. We had to work out the complex requirements, from surface selection to special air filters, with experts and make them our own.

Today, we can proudly claim to have revolutionized the blood donor market worldwide. Our modern blood donation vehicles are unique. Thanks to our many years of experience in designing and, above all, in the day-to-day practical operation of such units for our customers, we can now see ourselves as a specialist in this field. In our mobile medical rooms, we focus in particular on:

Our modern blood donation vehicles use hydraulically operated room extensions to create an inviting, bright space with enough space between donor beds. Donors experience a pleasant feel-good atmosphere as soon as they enter the modern vehicle and can switch off and relax while donating blood while looking at an XXL screen. The team can also carry out their work processes professionally without “stepping on their feet.”

The interior of the blood donation mobile of up to 70 square meters allows 8 donor beds to be placed in a modern setting for maximum donor comfort. There is also space for a separate waiting area, a doctor's room, a spatially separated and soundproofed registration, a separate laboratory and a cold room with temperature-controlled canned refrigerators. The modern power management system also ensures autonomous, risk-free operation.
